CTOnews.com, September 13, according to data released by energy market research firm SNE Research on the 13th, the global power battery market reached 59 trillion won (about 296.7 billion yuan) in the first half of this year, of which LG New Energy, SK On and Samsung SDI accounted for 26% of sales.

In terms of market share, Ningde Times (30% minus 17.9 trillion won) ranked first, while LG New Energy (14% Jue 8 trillion won) ranked second, followed by BYD (9% reel 5.3 trillion won), Samsung SDI (7% SDI won 4.1 trillion won), Japan Panasonic (5% minus 3 trillion won) and SK on (5% Lane 2.8 trillion won).

The agency's data also show that global sales of electric vehicles (pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles) rose 65% year-on-year to 4.35 million units in the first half of this year.

CTOnews.com learned that the monthly power battery data released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance in August 2022 showed that among the top 15 domestic power battery companies in August 2022, Ningde era ranked first with 46.79%, while BYD and AVIC ranked second and third with 21.91% and 5.62% respectively.
