Judging from the latest revelations, Microsoft seems to be preparing to launch its first game-focused Surface Gaming laptop.

According to the specifications found by Prime Gaming, Microsoft Surface Gaming laptops may have some high-end configurations.

According to the revelation, the Surface Gaming laptop has a 16-inch PixelSense Flow Display display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and supports the Dolby horizon. The shell is made of magnesium and aluminum alloy, with platinum and matte black colors, and an one-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is given.

The size of the machine is 357.37 x 245.11 x 19.55mm, with 16GB or 32GB LPDDR4x memory and optional 256GB / 512GB / 1TB / 2TB SSD storage. The two configurations are:

I5-12500H (12-core 16-thread) processor + RTX 3050 Ti 4GB display + 102W power supply + 1957.6g weight + 16-hour battery life

I7-12700H (14-core 20-thread) processor + RTX 3070 Ti 8GB display + 127W power supply + 2019.9g weight + 15-hour battery life

In addition, the machine is equipped with three lightning 4 / USB 4 interfaces, as well as 3.5mm headphone holes, Surface power interface, support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Windows Hello face recognition, 1080p camera and so on.

If the revelations are true, then this will be the most powerful generation of Surface notebooks. However, the 127W power supply, LPDDR4x memory, and no support for Wi-Fi 6e in the parameters are questionable.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft launched its original line of Surface RT tablets on October 26, 2012. Sources told The Verge that Microsoft plans to launch new products this fall to mark the 10th anniversary of Surface. We can look forward to the launch later this year or on CES 2023.
