Although Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) has raised the issue of rising battery costs before, Visa said that Tesla has actually received an adequate and stable supply of batteries.

"as far as I can remember, this is the first time that Tesla's electric vehicle business and energy storage business have had an adequate supply of batteries at the same time," Visa said. On the question of how Tesla improved the battery supply, Vicha said that the main reason was that Tesla began to work with a number of suppliers. Previously, Tesla batteries have been supplied by a Panasonic company, but in recent years, Tesla has begun to work with companies such as Ningde Times and LG.

Vicha said that these battery manufacturers are rapidly increasing their capacity, which is very helpful to Tesla's capacity increase. If the electric car industry is to grow tenfold, supply chains such as batteries also need to grow tenfold.

CTOnews.com learned that in addition to the Ningde era, BYD will also cooperate with Tesla. According to teslamag.de on August 11, the German-made Tesla Model Y will assemble a BYD blade battery with a battery capacity of 55 kilowatt hours and a range of 440km.
