Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, September 13 (Xinhua)-- Apple has introduced a rapid security response (Rapid Security Response) feature in its iOS 16 system, which allows faster deployment of security patch updates through incomplete iOS updates. By default, Rapid Security Response updates are installed automatically, but Apple allows users to delete them manually.
In an updated support document shared by Apple today, the company said that users can go to Settings > General > about, click iOS version, and then click remove Rapid Security Response updates.
Apple says users can reinstall the Quick Security response update later, or wait for it to be installed permanently as part of a standard software update. It is not clear why quick security response updates need to be deleted, but it is a good thing that users have such a choice.
CTOnews.com learned that Apple also provides a toggle button to turn off the automatic installation of Quick Security response, so that updates can be downloaded and installed manually.
