Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu and OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, September 12, according to leaked reports, the release of Intel's 13th generation Raptor Lake is coming, so a lot of information is spreading everywhere. Details about SKU are said to have emerged, initially in the form of basic specifications, followed by more in-depth details. A few days ago, details of the accompanying Z790 chipset and allegedly official Intel Raptor Lake slides were also leaked.

At today's Intel Tech Tour 2022 event, Intel officially shared more information about its upcoming Raptor Lake processor. Tech Tour is aimed at its Israel Development Center, and the company talks about all the achievements it has made at the Israel Development Center over the years, from 8088 in 1979 to the upcoming 13th generation Raptor Lake (RPL) Core processor.

The exciting part of today's announcement is that the clock rate on the RPL has been confirmed. Although Intel has been raising the clock rate in the past few generations of CPU, this time, Raptor Lake has now been proved to have crazy 6GHz basic clock rates.

The previously leaked information about Core i9-13900K and 13900KF did not reach this level of speed. As a result, Intel is likely to imply that the basic speed of Core i9-13900KS SKU is 6GHz, where KS samples are basically pre-packed chips, ready to use out of the box, with very high clock speeds.

Intel also revealed that Raptor Lake's overclocking clock frequency reached 8GHz's world record. The figure above shows a sample 13900KF project (ES) running on 8.1GHz. The image above also confirms that 13900KF's 5.8GHz Rui-frequency speed was leaked in an earlier slide.

CTOnews.com learned that Intel's 13th-generation Coolie processor will be released in the early morning of September 28 Beijing time and will be available on October 20, including the K-series models of i9, i7 and i5. The 13th generation Core i9K model will be available for pre-sale in China after its release on September 28, followed by a domestic launch on October 13, when i7K and i5K models will start pre-sale.
