CTOnews.com learned that Shentong Express pointed out that the loss in Central China was mainly due to the delivery of express parcels in Central China, resulting in paid delivery costs much higher than paid delivery revenue, resulting in poor gross profit in the region as a whole.

On the issue of "cancellation of the company's fixed increase", Shentong Express said that since the approval of the non-public offering plan at the shareholders' meeting, the company had been actively promoting related issues, but due to the influence of factors such as the capital market environment and changes in financing timing, no substantial progress has been made. As of August 15, 2022, the second fixed increase plan has expired automatically, and this matter will not have a significant impact on the production and operation of the company. In the future, the company will formulate a corresponding diversified financing plan according to its own development strategy and capital needs.

Data show that Shentong Express achieved 2.887 billion yuan in revenue from express delivery services in July, an increase of 63.74 percent over the same period last year; the completed business volume was 1.95 billion tickets, up 33.84 percent from the same period last year; and the single ticket revenue from express services was 2.42 yuan, up 22.84 percent from the same period last year.

Previously, Shentong Express expected a net profit of 170 million yuan to 200 million yuan in the first half of 2022, an increase of 216.20% Murray 236.71% over the same period last year.
