Huawei Hunan will carry out product research and development, business innovation and sales and services to provide technology, products and solutions and service support for Hunan's digital transformation.

In terms of product research and development, Changsha Research Institute will work with Huawei headquarters Research Institute to focus on the research and development of cloud computing, audio and video technology innovation, artificial intelligence, business software and Hongmeng operating system to create products and solutions with core competitiveness.

In terms of business innovation, Huawei will continue to carry out business innovation in the areas of audio and video industry, intelligent network industry, smart city & government cloud, software development and digital energy, and do a good job in incubation and marketing.

In terms of sales and services, Huawei will sell and serve Hunan government, enterprises, operators and consumers to help Hunan customers achieve digital transformation.

CTOnews.com learned that operating results showed that Huawei had sales revenue of 301.6 billion yuan and a net profit margin of 5.0 per cent in the first half of 2022. Among them, the operator's business income is 142.7 billion yuan, the enterprise business income is 54.7 billion yuan, and the terminal business income is 101.3 billion yuan.

Hu Houyi, Huawei's rotating chairman, said in August that ICT infrastructure business had maintained steady growth despite the significant impact on terminal business. "We will actively seize the development trend of digitization and low carbon, and achieve quality development by creating value for customers and partners."
