According to CTOnews.com news on September 11, data show that panel makers Groupon earned NT $15.3 billion (about 3.442 billion yuan) in August, down 3% from July and 51.3% from a year earlier, reaching a nearly 30-month low.

In addition, Qunchuang's combined revenue in the first eight months of this year was 158.829 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 35.737 billion yuan), down 34 per cent from a year earlier. Qunchuang said that August revenue decreased compared with the same period last year, mainly due to falling market prices and reduced shipments.

CTOnews.com learned that Qunchuang Optoelectronics shipped 8.65 million pieces in large size in August 2022, an increase of 4.8% compared with the previous month, and 2221 million pieces in small and medium sizes, a decrease of 3.3% compared with the previous month.

For comparison, Qunchuang's July camp received NT $15.8 billion (about 3.555 billion yuan), down 18.3% from the previous month and 51.1% from a year earlier. The total shipments of large-size panels in July totaled 8.25 million, a decrease of 26.2% month-on-month compared with the previous month. The total shipments of small and medium-sized panels in July were 2297, a decrease of 24.4% from the previous month.
