After Apple launched Smart Island, many netizens speculated that Android manufacturers would follow suit. Although no Android vendors have revealed their willingness to do so, some users have already taken action. Recently, a theme designer named "Muye" said that he has developed a third-party theme similar to "Smart Island" and has uploaded the Xiaomi theme store, which is waiting for official approval.

It is reported that the theme designed by the designer is called "Smart pills", which supports custom aircraft animation, lock screen charging personality text, time and date reverse color, small white strips, smart charging, smart music and other functions. At the same time, the user can adjust the position of the "smart island" in the "Smart Lock screen alignment" option to apply to different models with holes. In contrast, the "smart pill" launched by the theme designer is more modified at the appearance level, and the official system adaptation is needed to complete the function similar to Apple Smart Island.

However, according to Xiaomi official announcement, Xiaomi MIUI will not do "Smart Island" related functions for the time being.
