CTOnews.com September 9 news, today, China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released the power battery monthly data for August 2022.

Among the top 15 domestic power battery companies in August 2022, Ningde era firmly ranked first with 46.79%, while BYD and AVIC (AVIC Lithium) ranked second and third with 21.91% and 5.62%, respectively.

CTOnews.com learned that the 4th to 15th places are Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Xin Wanda, Honeycomb Energy, Yiwei Lithium Energy, Fu Energy Technology, Ripu Lanjun, Jiewei Power, LG New Energy, Zhengli New Energy (Tafel), Huading League of Nations, Duofudo, and Lishen.

From January to August in 2022, the top 15 domestic power battery enterprises are Ningde Times, BYD, China New Airlines (AVIC Lithium), Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Xin Wanda, Honeycomb Energy, Yiwei Lithium Energy, LG New Energy, Funeng Technology, Ruipu Lanjun, Jiewei Power, Duofuo, Zhengli New Energy (Tafel), Penghui Energy, Lishen.

According to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, China's power battery installed 27.8GWh increased by 121.0% year-on-year and 14.7% month-on-month in August. Among them, ternary battery 10.5GWh accounted for 37.9% of the total installed capacity, an increase of 97.1% over the same period last year and 7.0% compared with the previous year; lithium iron phosphate battery 17.2GWh accounted for 62.0% of the total installed capacity, up 138.6% from the same period last year and 20.0% from the previous year. From January to August, the cumulative installed capacity of power batteries in China was 162.1GWh, an increase of 112.3% over the same period last year. Among them, the cumulative loading of ternary batteries 66.0GWh, accounting for 40.7 percent of the total installed capacity, increased by 61.1 percent over the same period last year; the cumulative loading of lithium iron phosphate batteries 95.9GWh, accounting for 59.2 percent of the total installed capacity, increased by 172.2 percent over the same period last year, showing a momentum of rapid growth.

A total of 37 power battery companies were installed in China's new energy vehicle market in August, down from one in the same period last year, according to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance. The power battery loads of the top 3, top 5 and top 10 power battery companies are 20.6GWh, 22.7GWh and 25.8GWh respectively, accounting for 74.3%, 82.0% and 92.8% of the total installed capacity, respectively. From January to August, a total of 47 power battery enterprises in China's new energy vehicle market were equipped with supporting vehicles, 7 fewer than the same period last year. The top 3, top 5 and top 10 power battery enterprises installed 124.2GWh, 136.3GWh and 153.0GWh respectively, accounting for 76.7%, 84.1% and 94.4% of the total installed capacity, respectively.
