The move comes a week after Apple halted sales of new products in Russia in March, a week after the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, but Russian retailers are still selling surplus inventory of old models of iPhone and MacBook.

Russian mobile network MTS sold the new iPhone 14 model in pre-order on Thursday morning. The price of the 128GB version starts at 84990 rubles (about 9709 yuan).

MTS said delivery could take up to 120 days and reserved the right to cancel the order if it encountered difficulties in importing the product. Apple has not responded yet.
