CTOnews.com Sept. 9, Fuji officially released the XF56mmF1.2 R WR lens tonight, priced at 6620 yuan, and went on sale on September 29.

CTOnews.com learned that the XF56mmF1.2 R WR is a large-aperture fixed-focus lens with a medium-and long-range focal length of 56mm (equivalent to 35mm format 85mm focal length).

Officials say it inherits the F1.2 aperture at the core of its previous product, but has significantly improved its recent focal length, image resolution and beautification of soft scattered scenes. The focus area displays every detail in high resolution, while a full aperture can produce a beautiful scatter in the background, highlight the subject, and then improve the clarity of the image. Due to the use of F1.2 large aperture and medium-distance focal length, the previous model is very suitable for shooting portraits. However, the new lens optimizes the nearest focal length and makes it easier to shoot still life on the table. In addition, it can also meet the requirements of street shooting and other shooting scenes.

In terms of parameters, the XF56mmF1.2 R WR consists of 8 groups of 13 lenses, including one ED lens and two aspherical lenses, which can achieve higher image resolution than the previous model. Up to 8 lenses are used in the focus group to minimize chromatic aberration, spherical aberration and comet aberration, resulting in excellent image resolution (from the nearest focusing distance to infinity). The recent focusing distance is shortened to only 50cm from the sensor surface, which is 20cm shorter than that of the previous model. Aspheric lenses have higher machining accuracy to reduce the onion ring effect in the scattered scene.

The shallow depth of field effect of F1.2 aperture is further enhanced by shortening the nearest focal length in close-up photography. The lens uses multiple aspheric lenses, ED lenses and high refractive index lenses to minimize aberrations of all types and provide a beautiful scattered scene effect. The resolution of the new model is significantly higher than that of the previous model at the most recent focus distance, so users can maximize the excellent image resolution and soft scatter of the XF56mmF1.2 R WR.
