CTOnews.com September 9 news, Canalys latest report shows, the mainland of China cloud Infrastructure services spending increased 11% year-on-year, In the second quarter of 2022 reached 7.3 billion US dollars, accounting for 12% of the world's overall cloud spending. Compared with the high growth momentum of 33% in the global cloud services market, the growth of the Chinese market has slowed significantly, falling below 20% for the first time.

CTOnews.com understands that the report points out that Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud and Baidu Smart Cloud still maintain their leading positions in China's cloud computing market. The top four suppliers account for 79 percent of total spending in China, but all four saw growth rates decline compared to the past few quarters.

Alibaba Cloud accounted for 34% of the market share this quarter, up about 10% year-on-year, and its market share decreased by about 2% compared with the previous quarter.

Huawei Cloud, as the second largest cloud vendor, grew 11% year-on-year in the quarter, accounting for 19% of the overall market.

Tencent Cloud ranked third, accounting for 17% of China's cloud computing market. In June, Tencent Cloud announced that all of its internal businesses, including QQ and WeChat, had been completely migrated to the cloud, a move that significantly reduced its internal IT costs.

The fourth vendor, Baidu Smart Cloud, accounted for 9% of the market, up 25% year-on-year.
