According to official information released by Tesla, the 9000 super charging pile built by Tesla in China landed in Yiyang, Hunan Province. Prior to this, Tesla China added 48 super charging stations and 198 super charging piles in July, which has been launched in 33 cities (counties) across the country.

CTOnews.com learned that Tesla has built and opened more than 35000 super charging stations worldwide, and opened more than 1200 super charging stations and more than 8900 super charging piles in Chinese mainland, cooperating with more than 8900 destination charging stations and more than 1800 destination charging piles, covering more than 370 cities and regions.

Tesla's supercharging network now covers all provincial capitals and municipalities of Chinese mainland, and has achieved full coverage of prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hebei, Shandong, Guangdong, Guizhou and Shanxi. In addition, Tesla has built 100 super charging stations in Beijing, providing a total of 890 fast charging piles.
