CTOnews.com Sept. 9, Intel has released its first WDDM 3.1 driver for its 11-and 12-generation processors, version 31.0.101.3616.

In addition to WDDM 3.1, the new Windows DCH driver fixes several bugs in some of the most popular games today, including Marvel Spider-Man: remake and cat simulator Stray, but there are also many unresolved issues with the new version.

Problem fix: Stray* (DX12) may encounter application crashes or errors during the game.

Vampire Escape-consanguinity * (DX12) may collapse during the start of the game.

Marvel Spider-Man (DX12) may cause lighting damage when looking at the sun.

Marvel Spider-Man * (DX12) may have a soft lock when trying to take pictures of the Empire State Building.

Marvel Spider-Man: * (DX12) may have missing lens halos under some light sources.

Known problem: CS:GO* (DX9) may cause the game to crash when changing shadow quality settings in the game.

When HDR is enabled, Destiny 2 * may lose the display signal or flicker during the game.

A "Update driver" pop-up error message may appear when starting Battlefield 1 * after upgrading from 30.0.100.9955 or earlier.

Wilderness Dart 2 * (Vulkan) may encounter an application crash when performing ALT+TAB on the desktop.

Color damage may be observed in the "chaos field" environment in Warhammer III.

Light damage may be observed in the Halo: infinite * (DX12) multiplayer menu.

Grid Legends* (DX12) may experience lighting damage when the lighting quality is set to high in the game settings.

HD* (DX9) crossing the line of fire may encounter an application crash when switching tasks during a game.

Chorus* may encounter application crashes in some internal areas of the game, such as boathouses.

Sniper Elite 5* (DX12) may encounter a game crash or TDR and a pop-up message in the error dialog box.

When the game API is set to DirectX ®12 and VSync is enabled, the performance of Wild Dart 2 * (DX12) may be lower than expected.

Slight graphical anomalies may be seen in War Machine 5 * (DX12).

A game crash or hang may occur when you change the resolution in NBA 2K21* (DX12).

Slight graphic anomalies may be seen in Elex* (DX11), Mecha Warriors 5: mercenaries * (DX12), exotic Expeditions * (DX12), and uplink Battlefield * (DX12).
