Of course, not all graphics models have dropped to the recommended retail price level, and the current core lineup, including AMD Radeon RX 6800XT / RX 6800 and NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 10GB, is approaching the MSRP level.

AMD, NVIDIA and retailers are not in a hurry to cut prices, after all, nearly two years have passed since the launch time, and AMD and NVIDIA will soon launch a new generation of flagship cards, so these high-end and mid-range cards are expected to coexist for a long time.

3DCenter reports that the prices of these core product lines have fallen below the suggested retail price (97% to be exact), but this price is still a little higher than the total range of each brand, as shown in the following figure:

The AMD Radeon RX 6800XT is now priced at € 759, while the RX 6800 is priced at € 639.

For NVIDIA products, the price reduction is even lower. The RTX 3080 10GB costs 675 euros, while the RTX 3070 costs 579 euros. The only card that exceeded the suggested retail price across the board was the RTX 3060 Ti, which sold for € 474.

Analysts believe that the price of the "2022 core card" will fall slower than most people think, especially the flagship card and the low-end model, but the former will soon be replaced by the RTX 40 and RX 7000 series, while the low-end card will also cool down rapidly with the release of the new architecture, but the mid-range card with no hope of short-term update is still struggling.
