CTOnews.com, Sept. 9 (Xinhua)-- Activision has previously launched a new project codenamed "Project Aurora", which is reported to be a mobile game called "call of Duty: war Zone".

Today, Activision officially announced the mobile game "call of Duty Theater Mobile" and released its first trailer for the new film. According to the official introduction, this is a "new call of Duty experience designed for mobile."

The official description shows that this is a call of Duty game with a 120-player hall and some kind of shared progress, and mentions that call of Duty: war Zone Mobile Games will be pre-registered so that it can have the opportunity to unlock the reward when it is released.

According to reports, this is a new game jointly developed by four studios (Solid State Studios, Beenox, Activision Shanghai and Digital Legends). More information will be announced at the COD NEXT press conference on September 15.

In addition to mobile games, Activision is also developing Battle Zone 2.0 for the console, and Activision will share more details about the game at its launch event on September 15.

The trailer, which has only eight seconds, shows a plane flying over the clouds, but veteran players of the War Zone may look familiar. The brief view of the plane looks the same as the original introduction sequence of the Verdansk map in modern warfare.

CTOnews.com reported that the game was released in March 2020 and attracted 100 million players in 13 months. In August last year, Activision announced the establishment of a mobile game development studio called Solid State to develop new works in the call of Duty series.

It was later confirmed that Beenox, Activision Shanghai and Digital Legends, which was acquired by Activision last year, were also involved in the development of new call of Duty mobile games in 2021.
