Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens, soft media new friends 2010825, Sentinel, Lighting Star, Microsoft to fear the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com Sept. 9, Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25197 for Dev channels. Due to International Labour Day's holiday (the first Monday in September every year), it is one day later than the regular update day.

As usual, this new version doesn't contain many feature updates, but it restores designs that were previously deleted by Microsoft, such as taskbar optimizations for tablets.

Microsoft launched this taskbar optimized for tablets a long time ago, which is much smaller than the common taskbar, so the main interface looks larger and more spacious, and optimizes the logic of the touch screen. but Microsoft eventually cancelled the design for some reason.

Microsoft has announced that it has re-launched the taskbar program, which is optimized for touch operation, so that you can be more confident and comfortable when using a tablet.

Of course, Microsoft is smarter this time, switching to this version only when the user disconnects or folds the keyboard, and this feature applies only to devices that can be used as tablets. Microsoft stresses that it does not apply to laptops or desktops.

In the new taskbar, the application icon is no longer displayed at the bottom, and you can only see basic information such as the Internet and battery icons at most.

If you need to use the full taskbar function, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to call out the original taskbar.

In addition, the Dev feature is also tested by A / B, which is not open to all insiders. If you can see a new option called "optimize the taskbar for touch interaction when using this device as a tablet" in Settings > Personalization > taskbar > taskbar behavior, it means the default setting is on.

In addition, Microsoft also brought back another deleted feature related to the system tray, and this design is related to all devices.

However, the new system tray is mainly a visual update, and Microsoft has added a circular focus and hover effect to make it more "modern".

But this update also has an obvious drawback, that is, it is unable to drag and drop or rearrange icons, so Microsoft also canceled the original feature update because of this problem. However, Microsoft says it is working on improvements, so it is expected to solve the problem in future versions.

Finally, there is another improvement, which is mainly related to setup. When you switch between the categories on the left menu, you will see the animation effect of the icon for a few more seconds, thus making the user's daily experience more lively and interesting.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft has also made a drop adjustment to keyboard input in this version, which aims to "increase the keystroke repetition rate of the traditional touch keyboard layout and the default touch keyboard layout." now you can achieve a rate of 20 typing per second. For example, when you press and hold the delete key, you delete 20 characters per second.

Other aspects are mainly Bug repair, here is the original Microsoft text:
