Of course, Microsoft is smarter this time, switching to this version only when the user disconnects or folds the keyboard, and this feature applies only to devices that can be used as tablets. Microsoft stresses that it does not apply to laptops or desktops.

In the new taskbar, the application icon is no longer displayed at the bottom, and you can only see basic information such as the Internet and battery icons at most.

If you need to use the full taskbar function, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to call out the original taskbar.

In addition, the Dev feature is also tested by A / B, which is not open to all insiders. If you can see a new option called "optimize the taskbar for touch interaction when using this device as a tablet" in Settings > Personalization > taskbar > taskbar behavior, it means the default setting is on.
