CTOnews.com Sept. 8 news, today, Panasonic released L-bayonet LUMIX S 18mm F1.8 large aperture ultra-wide-angle fixed focus lens.

CTOnews.com learned that the LUMIX S 18mm F1.8 lens consists of 12 groups of 13 lenses, including 3 aspherical lenses, 3 ED (low dispersion) lenses, 1 UED (ultra low dispersion) lens and 1 UHR (ultra high refractive index) lens. The use of 3 aspherical lenses realizes the illusion of high picture quality and beauty, which is the common advantage of this series of F1.8 lenses. Three ED lenses can effectively suppress the chromatic aberration. The 18mm focal segment is suitable for a variety of scenes, such as landscape photography with a wide perspective, astronomical photography and architectural photography. The nearest focus distance is 0.18m, so you can take a close-up shot.

The LUMIX S 18mm F1.8 weighs about 340g, is light and flexible, and can be used with the LUMIX full-frame camera S5. The reliable dustproof / splash-proof design enables it to be used normally even in harsh conditions of minus 10 degrees Celsius, thus achieving high mobility. The filter is 67 mm in diameter and the lens has 9 round aperture blades.
