CTOnews.com learned that the latest update to Sony PS5 also brings 1440p HDMI video output, game lists and social features. Support for 1440p HDMI video output enables players to choose additional visual settings on compatible PC monitors and televisions. If the game you are playing supports 1440p rendering, you can experience the native 1440p output on the monitor; if the game you are playing has a higher raw resolution (such as 4K), then the player can reduce it to 1440p output by oversampling.
