CTOnews.com, September 8 (Xinhua)-- the technical specifications of Apple's official website show that all four iPhone 14 series models and AirPods Pro 2 support Bluetooth 5.3, but it is not clear how these devices support LE Audio technology.

LE Audio is a low-power audio streaming specification that is supported on Bluetooth 5.2 or later devices. According to MacRumors, LE Audio can bring AirPods Pro improved audio quality, longer battery life, multi-streaming audio, connecting multiple pairs of AirPods to iPhone at a time, and no need to switch between iPhone and Mac.

CTOnews.com learned that MacRumors said that LE Audio and related information were not mentioned in Apple's iPhone 14 and AirPods Pro press releases and technical specifications pages, and that it had contacted Apple for confirmation. In July, Bluetooth SIG said it expected the availability of LE Audio-enabled products to increase by the end of 2022.

Given that the iPhone 14 model and AirPods Pro 2 support Bluetooth 5.3, if the device does not currently support the LE Audio specification, Apple may enable LE Audio in the future through software or firmware updates.
