CTOnews.com Sept. 8, Today, Aozhishi announced the development of a high-performance natural photography telephoto macro lens M.Zuiko Digital ED 90mm F3.5 Macro IS PRO (35mm equivalent: 180mm). The product is the first high-performance three-quarters long-focal macro lens in the M.Zuiko PRO series and is scheduled to be released in 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that the main features of this lens include: 180mm equivalent focal length (35mm equivalent), picture magnification up to 4x (35mm equivalent), all-weather IP53 dust and waterproof splash performance, and anti-shaking mechanism in the lens.

It should be noted that Aozhishin said that the product is still under development, the specific specifications, based on the final product shall prevail. Aozhishin said that by adding this lens, three existing macro lenses with close-up shooting performance can achieve 2x (35mm equivalent) or greater magnification under the focal length of 60mm, 120mm and 180mm, respectively.

As a result, the lens product line has 11 semi-macro lenses that support 0.5x (35mm equivalent) or more maximum image magnification.
