CTOnews.com Sept. 8 news, today, TSMC released its August 2022 revenue report. Data show that TSMC's consolidated revenue in August 2022 was about NT $218.13 billion (about 49.297 billion yuan), an increase of 16.8% month-on-month and 58.7% year-on-year, a record high.

CTOnews.com learned that TSMC's cumulative revenue in the first eight months of this year was about NT $1.43 trillion (about 323.18 billion yuan), up 43.5 per cent from a year earlier.

For comparison, TSMC's combined revenue in July was about NT $186.763 billion (about 42.022 billion yuan), an increase of 6.2% month-on-month and 49.9% year-on-year, a record high.

On August 30, TSMC President Wei Zhe Jia mentioned at the 2022 TSMC Technology Forum that TSMC 3nm maintains the FF architecture and is about to be mass produced, and 2nm will be the leading technology for mass production in 2025.
