On September 8, Trip Chowdhry, an analyst at Global Equities Research, predicted that Tesla will create a "record delivery quarter" this year. More than 500000 electric vehicles will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year, and quarterly delivery will hit a new high again.

According to foreign media reports, the analyst, who visited the Tesla Fremont factory, is expected to deliver 145000 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter, 246000 at the Shanghai super factory, 60,000 each at the Berlin super factory and the Texas super factory, and 511000 at the four factories.

Although the third quarter is not over, and Tesla's production and delivery volume in this quarter are also unknown, analysts believe that the delivery of 511000 vehicles in the fourth quarter will set a new high for Tesla's quarterly delivery.

Tesla's current production and delivery of vehicles are the highest in the fourth quarter of last year and the first quarter of this year, respectively. In the fourth quarter of last year, 305840 vehicles were produced and 308600 vehicles were delivered; in the first quarter of this year, 305400 vehicles were produced and more than 310000 vehicles were delivered.

The fourth quarter is usually the highest quarterly output and delivery of Tesla every year, and it is not surprising that the Berlin super-factory and the Texas super-factory put into production and increased their capacity, coupled with the continued increase in production at the Shanghai super-factory and Fremont plant, which hit a new high again in the fourth quarter of this year.

But whether Tesla can deliver more than 500000 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter of this year, as expected by analysts, depends on whether the supply chain will be affected, and the final results will be announced after they announce quarterly production and delivery early next year.
