With the dust of the product release settled, some previous rumors have not been confirmed, and the long-term hopes of some users have not been realized. IPhone 14

Mixed reality shows that Apple's mixed reality has become "the elephant in the room". Although it was not mentioned at the press conference, there is more and more news about it. Apple analyst Guo Mingyi predicts that it could go public in January 2023. Apple has applied for the "Reality One" and "Reality Pro" trademarks, which may imply its brand positioning. The device is powered by a M2 chip and can be used to mix real-world experiences and games. Apple's board of directors reportedly tried the device earlier this year and may not have to wait too long to see it.

IPhone 14 Pro Premium $100Apple didn't raise the price of the Pro and Pro Max models in the end. The iPhone 14 Pro will start at $999, while the Pro Max will start at $1099.

Satellite calls and text messages rumors that Apple plans to support satellite calls and text messages have been circulating for months, although they are not 100% correct, but there is still some substance to the rumors. Apple finally announced that iPhone 14 supports satellite communications emergency assistance (Emergency SOS via satllite), which can connect specific satellite frequencies, send messages, and communicate them to emergency agencies through base stations and so on. The Watch Series 8 Fever Detection function had previously been rumored that Apple would introduce a new fever test for Watch Series 8. Although Apple does add two new temperature sensors to the device, its main purpose is to track menstruation.

Watch Series 8 can take a user's temperature every five seconds and help users figure out when they last ovulated. Maybe Apple can expand this feature in some way in the future to remind you of a fever. However, it is also possible that its fever test ability failed the internal test.

The iPhone 14 miniiPhone 14 lineup does not include the mini model. Apple's latest mini iterative product (probably the last one) was launched last year in the iPhone 13 series. The device uses a smaller 5.4-inch display screen and is compact in size.

However, the possibility of another Mini is not completely ruled out. IPhone's Plus model has just returned for the first time since 2018. If Apple sees demand for small devices in the future, the mini model is also likely to return.

The lossless audio of the new AirPods Pro what Apple CEO Tim Cook calls the "state-of-the-art AirPods" still comes with Bluetooth. While the second-generation AirPods Pro does have some significant upgrades, including improved noise cancellation and spatial audio, they are not equipped with rumored lossless audio, which is supposed to greatly improve audio quality.

USB-C Port with Europe and even Brazil putting pressure on Apple to give up its proprietary Lightning port, Apple can be expected to introduce USB-C port on its device. According to reports, Apple is now testing the iPhone with USB-C, but Guo Mingyi is not expected to appear until the second half of 2023.
