Apple says this is the most advanced AirPods Pro yet, and the new AirPods Pro is powered by a new H2 chip, unlocking groundbreaking audio performance and major upgrades to active noise reduction and transparency modes.

In terms of noise reduction, AirPods Pro is equipped with a new H2 chip, which can reduce noise up to twice as much as the previous generation AirPods Pro. AirPods Pro features a new low-distortion audio driver unit and custom amplifiers that deliver deeper bass and unbelievably transparent sound across a wider frequency range. In addition, transparent mode allows users to continuously sense their surroundings and stay connected with the outside world. Now, adaptive pass-through mode takes this user-friendly feature one step further. Driven by powerful H2 chips, device-side processing technology reduces noisy ambient noise, such as sirens from passing vehicles, construction noise, and even speaker sounds at concerts.

In terms of sound quality, personalized spatial audio allows AirPods to provide a more immersive listening experience. Each user perceives sound differently, depending on the size and shape of each person's head and ears. Users can use the iPhone's original deep camera to create spatial audio profiles for a listening experience that's precisely tuned for them. Users can use iPhone, iPad and Mac to enjoy personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking while listening to music, watching movies and TV shows.

In terms of connectivity and control, AirPods Pro makes it easy to pair instantly with all Apple devices, while the new AirPods section in iOS settings makes it easy for users to access and control AirPods features. Users can now control audio playback and volume adjustments directly without the help of other devices. Use AirPods Pro's touch controls to quickly adjust volume by swiping up or down on the headset handle. Users can switch music, answer incoming calls, or say "hey Siri" with a tap of the headset handle, giving commands without having to do anything. A new and improved built-in skin detection sensor can play or pause audio more accurately while providing better battery life.

In terms of battery life, the new AirPods Pro adds 1.5 hours of listening time over the previous generation and up to 6 hours of listening time in active noise reduction mode. The wireless charging box can charge the headset an additional 4 times, which means users can enjoy up to 30 hours of listening time in active noise reduction mode, a full 6 hours more than the previous generation. Users can charge AirPods Pro using the Apple Watch charger, and MagSafe chargers, Qi certified chargers, or lightning cables are also compatible. In addition, AirPods Pro comes with a newly designed sweat and water resistant charging case and includes a lanyard hole to keep the device at your fingertips. The Precision Find feature allows users to locate the charging case based on the navigation route provided by the iPhone with the U1 chip. The charging case has built-in speakers that play louder sounds to help position AirPods Pro.
