The Apple Watch Pro model has a case size of 49mm-larger than the previously rumored 47mm to 48mm. For comparison, the Apple Watch Series 7 has a choice of 41mm and 45mm case sizes, which is expected to be reflected in the standard Series 8 model with the same design.

Combined with a flatter display, the larger 49mm case size could lead to a larger screen than 1.99in, or even 2in or larger, making it easy to achieve the largest Apple Watch display to date.

Recently, 91Mobiles shared CAD images of Apple Watch Pro's new design and claimed to have a 49mm case size. The picture confirms that the left side of the redesigned watch contains new physical buttons, a fully flat screen, and protuberances that hold the digital crown and side buttons.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman later confirmed that the design shown in the CAD image was real. Gurman has previously said the Apple Watch Pro will have a larger display, possibly "bigger than most wrists".
