In April this year, documents on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange showed that the review status of BYD Semiconductor was changed to be approved by the Shanghai Municipal Committee. In January this year, the announcement of the 5th Review meeting of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Entrepreneurship listing Committee in 2022 showed that BYD Semiconductor held its first meeting on the gem on January 27.

CTOnews.com learned that from the prospectus, BYD Semiconductor plans to raise 2.686 billion yuan this IPO to invest in the industrialization and upgrading of new power semiconductor chips, R & D and industrialization projects of power semiconductors and intelligent control devices, as well as supplementary liquidity.

In addition, with regard to the related aspects of "tight production capacity and long delivery cycle", BYD said it has attracted much attention from consumers since the launch of the DM-i super hybrid and the launch of the series of models. Due to the large number of orders, the delivery of vehicles is relatively slow, and the waiting time is long, so we apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers. At present, the company is actively arranging and deploying to accelerate the production capacity of related models.

When talking about the development of the company, BYD pointed out that as an enterprise group spanning automotive, battery, IT, semiconductor and other fields, BYD has the world's leading battery, motor, electric control and vehicle core technology, realizing multiple leaps in power performance, safety protection and energy consumption of new energy vehicles, and opening up a new development path for the global automobile industry.

According to the announcement, BYD sold 174915 new energy vehicles in August, compared with 61409 in the same period last year. BYD sold 983844 vehicles in the first eight months, up 164.03% from a year earlier.
