Beijing time, September 7, Meta CEO Zuckerberg released news that the annual VR conference Connect will be held on October 11. In the poster, Zuckerberg seems to be wearing a new helmet, it may be Project Cambria, this is a powerful MR helmet.

Meta has invested $10 billion a year to build a next-generation software platform, and Meta has previously admitted that VR / AR technology is not popular mainly because the hardware is not powerful enough.

Zuckerberg said in a podcast interview last month that he plans to launch Project Cambria this fall. The helmet has powerful computing power and can capture real-world images with a camera and display them in color inside the helmet in real time.

The Project Cambria helmet could sell for $800 or more, significantly higher than the existing Meta Quest 2 helmet.
