CTOnews.com, Sept. 6 (Xinhua)-- Xinxuan Group said on its official Weibo that it had donated 5 million yuan to Sichuan earthquake-stricken areas for the procurement of emergency materials for earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction work.

Xinxuan Group said, "Life first, Xinxuan hopes to work with everyone to build a 'steel barrier' for earthquake relief, so that the affected people can overcome difficulties as soon as possible and rebuild their beautiful homes as soon as possible. May Luding be safe! come on from Sichuan! come on from China!"

CTOnews.com learned that 12:52 on September 5, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province (29.59N, 102.08 E) with a focal depth of 16km. As of 14:00 on the 6th, the earthquake had caused 66 deaths (including 38 in Ganzi Prefecture and 28 in Ya'an City), 15 missing and 253 injured (including 5 critical and 70 seriously injured).
