The entry of Cheung Kong Storage into Apple's supply chain was first reported by South Korean media, which said that Apple had listed Cheung Kong Storage as a NAND flash memory supplier for iPhone 14.

South Korean media also said in the report that Apple's current NAND flash memory is supplied by Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and Armor, while DRAM relies heavily on South Korean memory chip manufacturers, relying on Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

Market watchers believe that Apple's partnership with Changjiang Storage will further diversify their suppliers of NAND flash memory and help reduce the price of this important component.
