CTOnews.com Sept. 5, Great Wall Motor released, September 2, Great Wall Motor Thailand Luoyong New Energy Plant 10,000 new energy vehicles off the line. With a brand new Harvard JOLION HEV slowly pulling out of the production line, Great Wall welcomed the 10,000 new energy vehicles produced in Thailand.

On February 9, 2021, Great Wall launched the GWM (Great Wall Motor) brand for the Thai market, with "new energy, new intelligence, new experience" as the brand value, committed to becoming a leading brand of new energy in Thailand and supporting Thailand to become the manufacturing hub of new energy vehicles in Southeast Asia.

At present, Great Wall has introduced two hybrid models to the Thai market: Harvard H6 HEV and Harvard JOLION HEV, and an all-electric car Ola good Cat, and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Thai government's consumption tax department, becoming the first car brand to respond to the Thai government's new energy subsidy policy.

On June 9, 2021, Harvard H6 HEV, the first new energy vehicle produced by Great Wall in Thailand, was put off the line at the Luoyong factory and went on sale in Thailand on June 28 of that year. By September 2 this year, Great Wall localized production of new energy vehicles in Thailand: Harvard H6 HEV and Harvard JOLION HEV have reached 10, 000, including imported Ola Hao cat pure electric cars, as of early September Great Wall delivered a total of about 11000 new energy vehicles to Thai users. Among them, by the end of July this year, Harvard H6 HEV has ranked first in the C-level SUV market for 10 months in the 13 months since it was listed in Thailand, and has continued to win the championship from January to July this year.

In the construction of charging network, Great Wall Motor has located in Bangkok, Thailand, the first optical storage and charging supercharging station in the world. In April this year, Great Wall signed a cooperation agreement with three power and energy institutions in Thailand to jointly promote the construction of electric vehicle ecosystem in Thailand. At present, the Great Wall car charging map has been connected to the three charging operators, nearly 600 charging stations, covering more than 50% of Thailand's public charging network.

CTOnews.com learned that with the orderly operation of the markets in Thailand, Brunei, Laos and Myanmar, Great Wall Motor will start the normal operation of Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Singapore in 2022, accelerating the landing of the 2025 globalization strategy of Great Wall Motor.
