CTOnews.com Sept. 5, BYD officially announced that Qin PLUS's August sales reached a record high of 35689, with cumulative sales reaching 368190.

BYD sold 174915 new energy vehicles in August, compared with 61409 in the same period last year. BYD sold 983844 vehicles in the first eight months, up 164.03% from a year earlier. The Qin family sold 39512 vehicles in August, with a cumulative sales of more than 720000 vehicles. Qin PLUS DM-i increased by 85.9% compared with the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that BYD Qin ranked second with retail sales of 33933 vehicles, second only to Wuling Hongguang MINI, according to the share of new energy car sales released by the FIFA in July.
