PCIe Compliance certification test is a special certification test of PCIe high-speed interface of PCI-SIG standards organization, and it is also a standard class test recognized by manufacturers in the industry.

The test not only represents the design quality of PCIe high-speed interface (including chip PCIe digital part, Serdes analog part, single board hardware, connector, etc.), but also reflects the compatibility of the product.

CTOnews.com learned that as the current mainstream bus standard and solution for servers, PCIe is evolving according to a three-year iterative cycle, and the current mainstream PCIe 5.0standard was officially released in May 2019. Since April this year, a small number of IP, chip and component manufacturers have passed the PCI-SIG certification.

According to the official introduction, Aliyun developed its own cloud native architecture Panjiu server M-series, which supports DDR5 standard, and its memory bandwidth is more than 50% higher than that of DDR4. Coupled with the doubling of the transmission rate of PCIe 5.0from 16GT / s of PCIe 4.0to 32 GT / s, the bus throughput of Panjiu server M series can reach 128GB / s, which can better meet the needs of modern data centers for high-speed data processing. In addition, the Ali self-research 710 chip has the advantages of customization flexibility, core number and cost performance. The Panjiu server M-series can play a role in large-scale transaction processing, online transactions, and cloud native application scenarios.
