At the scene of the conference, "artificial intelligence technology is constantly going deep into every link of the physical industry", "AI is more and more within reach", and so on. From entering the venue to automatically identify ID cards and complete face information confirmation, to the intelligent voice technology used in conference transfer, more and more intelligent and convenient AI products are constantly supporting these arguments.

At the opening ceremony, the Zidong Taichu, the world's first three-mode large model based on Teng AI, was awarded by the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. According to reports, "Zidong Taichu" is the first large model of picture, text and sound in the world, which realizes the "unified representation" and "mutual generation" of image, text and voice data, and its understanding and generation ability is closer to that of human beings.

In addition, Alibaba also announced the launch of the "Tongyi" series of large models and opened up the relevant core models to developers around the world. According to reports, through the deployment of super-large models and lightweight versions, Alibaba Tongyi large model series has provided services in more than 200 scenarios, achieving a 2% to 10% improvement in application effect.

Prior to this, Baidu has developed a series of industrial-level knowledge enhancement models for Wenxin, including basic general models, biological computing models, and energy, financial and aerospace industries. The "Wudao" large model project launched by Beijing Zhiyuan Institute of artificial Intelligence last year has also been upgraded many times.

In communication with Sina Technology, Zhang Dixuan, president of Huawei Teng Computing, pointed out that "the large model has the characteristics of good effect, strong generalization and standardization of R & D process, which further enhances the versatility of AI. Through the combination of large model and industry, it can better accelerate the combination of AI and industry, and solve the problem of mutual development of technology and industry. Large model is indeed becoming a trend of AI development."

Can the "core" track solve the neck problem? For a long time, the development of domestic IT industry pays more attention to the application of the upper layer, neglecting the cultivation and development of the bottom technology, which finally leads to some problems such as "lack of core and less soul". As a result, it has repeatedly encountered "neck jam". After realizing the seriousness of the problem, core-making has become a new outlet for investment and industrial development in the past two years.

At a time when the competition in the traditional chip industry is fierce and the head effect is obvious, special chips such as AI chip and ASIC chip have successively become the starting point for domestic core enterprises to overtake. At the exhibition site of this year's World artificial Intelligence Conference, companies such as Tian Zhi Core, Biji Technology, Tunyuan Technology, Yuntian Lifei, Kunlun Core and Denglin Technology domestic chips have successively participated in the exhibition, which has created another "core pavilion" of the AI enterprise exhibition and become the core highlight of this booth.

It is worth mentioning that meta-universe has become another emerging and noteworthy track. In addition to upgrading the launch of the immersive "meta-universe WAIC meta-planet", creating an online event of the meta-universe. In the application scenarios of the six-dimensional universe, traditional enterprises have become the main landing places and participants.
