CTOnews.com, Sept. 3, Ford sped up its efforts on the road to electric vaporization this year and made a big return. According to the data, the best-selling US carmaker has strong demand for electric vehicles, with sales up another 307 per cent in August.

CTOnews.com learned that Ford had almost always led the development of the American automobile industry in the previous century. After introducing the first assembly line in 1913, Henry Ford dramatically increased car production while reducing costs, which can be said to have revolutionized the auto industry.

In order to tap into the electric vehicle market, Ford launched a pure electric version of the Fmuri 150 Lightning for American users' favorite pickup truck. From May to August, Ford has delivered the electric pickup to all 50 states in the United States.

So far, Ford won the second place in the U. S. electric car sales market in August. Pure electric trucks sold 2373 in August, an increase of 200 over July; Mustang Mach-e sales reached 3120, up 115% from a year earlier, and orders for the new Mach-e reached a record of more than 7800.

In addition, Ford's commercial electric vans dominate the market with more than 90% of the market. The carmaker sold 404 E-transit in August alone.

On the second-quarter earnings call, Ford CEO James Farley explained about the positive consumer reaction:

Now we are overwhelmed by the demand for the first generation of electric cars, the Mustang Mach-E, the Lightning and the E-Transit. Even if we have a strong order base, these products can now be sold as much as they can in the market.

Ford expects to deliver 60,000 electric vehicles by the end of next year and 2 million by 2026. In other words, Ford is locking in battery deals with suppliers such as Ningde Times to ensure that its goals are met.
