According to reports, the 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor can provide 57% higher media performance than the competitor in the V-Ray Render, while even the 6-core AMD Ryzen 57600X processor has 5% faster performance than the competitor's flagship game processor.

In addition, AMD says the Ryzen 7950X processor is 47 per cent more energy efficient than its competitors. After the release of the new AMD product, some UP found that the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU would be very hot. R9 7950X reached 95 degrees Celsius at 230W and Ryzen 57600X could reach more than 90 ℃ at 120W.

However, he also stressed that this is based on the conclusion of the ES / QS processor, so the final result may be different.

Now another digital enthusiast has given a set of data indicating that there is a problem with the ES / QS processor used in the above UP master test.

@ Harukaze5719 gives a set of AIDA64 data that is said to be from AMD Ryzen 57600X CPU.

The first result shows us the configuration of the ES chip running at 5.05GHz, when the temperature reaches 93.1℃ and the power is 122W in the AIDA64 FPU pressure test.

But in the second window, we can see that after manually adjusting the Vcore, the CPU can still maintain the frequency of the 5.05GHz, while the temperature is halved to 56.5℃, and the power is reduced to 68W without affecting performance, which is basically the same as the official data given by AMD.

He believes that the default power or voltage configuration in the AMD Ryzen 7000 ES / QS version of the processor seems to be wrong, resulting in such a high temperature, but it is not difficult to solve this problem, but to achieve a higher frequency still needs to be set to a higher voltage.

He said that you only need to manually adjust the CLK to get very reasonable results, and there will be a lot of CLK / temp margin. With more than three weeks to go before the processor goes on sale, AMD is expected to solve this problem in a mass production version.
