Windows 11 Build 25193 introduces Xbox subscription management in the Settings application. With this release, users can better manage Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for Console, or Xbox Live Gold subscriptions and view subscription details by setting up > account.

Like the Microsoft 365 subscription management experience, users will be able to view billing cycles, payment methods, and games and benefits related to Xbox subscriptions. In addition, users can manage and upgrade subscriptions, exchange gift card tokens, and keep abreast of any operations needed to continue subscriptions without any disruption.

This feature has been pushed to some Dev preview users, and we can wait for a large-scale promotion.

In addition, this version supports the new Braille display in the narrator. Some new Braille displays supported include: APH Chameleon, APH Mantis Q40, NLS e-reader, and so on.

Remaining changes and improvements to the general practice:

Based on feedback from members of the Windows Preview experience, Microsoft has disabled the ability to share local files directly to OneDrive using the built-in Windows sharing window.

Fix the general:

Fixed an issue that caused enabling .NET Framework 3.5 from the Windows feature dialog box to not work in previous versions.

Taskbar:

Fixed an issue where taskbar overflow was different from taskbar emphasis color.

Fixed explorer.exe crash related to taskbar overflow.

Fixed a problem with widgets in the taskbar that caused the taskbar icon to sometimes drift in previous versions.

Fixed an issue where taskbar overflows may occur before needed or overlap with dates and times on secondary monitors if the monitor has a different DPI in two or more monitors.

Fixed an issue where the taskbar overflow control was opened after zooming changes were displayed, which might float above the taskbar.

Start menu:

Fixed an issue that caused unexpected characters instead of apostrophes to be displayed in tooltips for sleep options in the power menu.

Fixed an issue that could cause some people's start menu to crash when search highlight was enabled.

File Explorer:

If the taskbar is set to auto-hide and File Explorer is maximized, you can now hover your mouse over the bottom of the screen to invoke the taskbar.

Fixed an issue where rows indicating where to insert did not have sufficient contrast in dark mode when dragging and dropping a folder to dock it to the navigation pane.

Fixed an issue where the background of the search box in File Explorer might be the opposite of the color of the current mode (for example, darker in light mode).

Fixed an issue where File Explorer seemed to open, close and reopen after starting from some locations (such as opening the location of the downloaded file from an Edge browser) before finishing drawing.

Fixed an issue where some files could not be unpinned from the favorites section of the home page after they were fixed.

Fixed an issue where light / dark UI changes occurred when switching file explorer windows.

Fixed GDI object leakage when resizing navigation panes in File Explorer, which may cause content in File Explorer to not be rendered correctly to frequently resized navigation panes over time.

Some improvements have been made to help load the performance of the home page when backing up files in File Explorer using a cloud storage provider such as OneDrive.

Set up:

Fixed an issue that caused the storage page in the settings and disk cleanup to crash during the scan phase.

Fixed an issue where the URI that opened the page under the accounts section of Settings did not work for some people-Settings opened but could not navigate to the correct page.

Fixed an issue that caused the application icon to not be displayed correctly under privacy and security > voice activation.

Fixed setting crash when uninstalling applications using applications > installed applications.

Other:

Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the ShellExperienceHost.exe to crash when the user stopped projecting to another monitor or switched to a copied monitor.

If Unicode input is detected, a warning is added to findstr to indicate more clearly whether this is the reason why some files do not return results.

Fixed an issue where rows were not included when printing tables from some applications.

Fixed a problem that could cause some applications to hang.

Known problem

General:

Some games that use Easy Anti-Cheat may crash or cause error checking in PC.

Reports that the audio stopped working after upgrading to the latest version are being investigated.

Reports that different applications are starting to crash in recent versions are being investigated.

Reports of error checks encountered by insiders while moving the mouse in some games are being investigated.

Is investigating reports that some insiders see that the OneDrive setting requires it to be set each time the PC is restarted.

File Explorer:

The report under investigation says that after last week's version, a small number of insiders with "start a folder window in a separate process" were unable to open File Explorer.

Efforts are being made to fix a problem where command bar items such as copy, paste, and empty the Recycle Bin may not be enabled accidentally when they should be enabled.

Widgets:

The notification badge number may appear misaligned on the taskbar.

In some cases, notification banners for some badges do not appear on the widget panel.

Reports of incorrect weather display, lack of text, and excessive display of weather icons in some users' taskbars are being investigated.
