According to reports, the experts attending the meeting listened to the work reports of the drafting groups of three group standards, namely, "online Game Classification,"Game Product Innovation Index," and "High-quality Game Evaluation Specification," and reviewed the relevant contents of the working draft.

The expert group believes that the development of the above three group standards has a certain guiding significance for standardizing the types of online games, scientifically dividing the classification and management of online games, and helping game enterprises understand the specific indicators of innovation and development more clearly. and a better understanding of the relevant requirements of game quality work has played a positive role in guiding the high-quality and healthy development of the game industry.

CTOnews.com has reported that the China Audio and Digital Association released the group standard of "age tips for online games" at the 2020 annual meeting of China's game industry.

The standard is mainly composed of three parts. First of all, the identifier of the appropriate age hint is based on three different ages, namely, green 8 +, blue 12 + and yellow 16 years, but it is not included in the 18 + age group that may cause ambiguity, which is also the obvious difference between this standard and the foreign game rating system.
