According to CTOnews.com news on September 1, the latest delivery data released by Xiaopeng Motor today show that a total of 9578 units were delivered in August 2022, an increase of 33% over the same period last year. Among them, Xiaopeng P7 delivered 5745 units, Xiaopeng P5 delivered 2678 units, Xiaopeng G3 series delivered 1155 units. Xiaopeng delivered more than 90,000 units from January to August this year, nearly double that of the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that Xiaopeng said that in August, the flagship G9 was fully pre-sold, with orders for 22819 units within 24 hours of open bookings, far exceeding the levels of the G3, P7 and P5 over the same period. Starting from September 3, Xiaopeng G9 will start static evaluation one after another in 15 cities across the country, and will be officially listed this month.

In terms of charging facilities, the first ultra-fast charging pile of Xiaopeng S4 was officially launched in Guangzhou in August. So far, Xiaopeng has built 1000 self-charging stations, including 799 self-charging stations and 201 self-target stations, covering all prefecture-level administrative regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government. Xiaopeng plans to build another 2000 self-operated ultra-fast charging stations by 2025.

For comparison, Xiaopeng delivered a total of 11524 units in July, an increase of 43% over the same period last year. By July 2022, more than 80,000 units had been delivered, 2.1 times that of the same period last year.

According to the financial report, Xiaopeng's total revenue in the second quarter of 2022 was 7.436 billion yuan, an increase of 97.7 percent over the same period last year, while revenue in the first half of the year was nearly 15 billion, an increase of 121.9 percent over the same period last year. The net loss in the second quarter was 2.7 billion yuan, compared with 1.195 billion yuan in the same period last year, expanding over the same period last year.

In addition, Xiaopeng expects to deliver between 29000 and 31000 vehicles in the third quarter of 2022, with revenue between 6.8 billion and 7.2 billion.
