CTOnews.com8 news on March 31, with the continuous development of science and technology, flying cars have also moved from literature to real life. In addition to conventional four-wheeled flying cars, there are also companies that choose to develop three-wheeled flying cars.

The world's first flyable tricycle has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), METRO reported yesterday. According to reports, the three-wheeled flying car was developed by Oregon-based Samson Sky for 14 years and is worth 143000 pounds (about 1.154 million yuan). It is called Switchblade (Blade).

It is reported that the Switchblade tricycle is 5.1m long and 1.8m wide and can be parked in an ordinary parking space and driven by three tires. When the user drives the car to the airport, the Switchblade tricycle can unfold its wings and tail in three minutes to become an aircraft.

Sam Sam Bousfield, a CEO and designer at Samson Sky, said the Switchblade tricycle is expected to take off at a speed of 88 miles per hour (141.62 kilometers). In previous flight tests, the flying car could reach 98 miles per hour (about 157.72 kilometers), which means it can complete takeoff.

CTOnews.com learned that Bussfield said 2100 users had booked Switchblade flying cars in 52 countries. Among them, early booking users include NASA engineers, airline pilots, entrepreneurs and so on.
