Because it does not provide transport capacity directly, Huawei has adopted an aggregation model for entering the ride-hailing service, which is also the approach adopted by Gaode, Meituan and other enterprises to enter the ride-hailing industry. In the early days, Petal gathered Shouqi car booking and Shenzhou chauffeured car, but it only provided services in Beijing, Shenzhen, Nanjing and other cities.

In the field of travel, Huawei is showing greater ambition. According to people familiar with the matter, Huawei Petal Travel aims to enter the national market, intends to contact more ride-hailing service providers, and is currently negotiating full access with T3 Travel.

In fact, Huawei launched Petal Travel and Petal Maps, which are closely related to Google. Huawei faces cuts in a variety of user services in overseas markets because it is unable to use Google's GMS services. Against this background, Huawei launched its own Petal map to try to build its own ecology.

However, just as Hongmeng OS needs its own differentiated functions for its development and growth, Huawei Petal Maps also needs more users and services to build an ecology. And aggregation ride-hailing application Petal travel is an important part.

It is worth noting that in recent years, safety and compliance have become the most important factors affecting the development of the ride-hailing industry, as is the aggregation model. While T3 travel is promoting the new energy of platform vehicles, in the data released by Cui Dayong, T3 travel self-operated vehicles account for 92% of the new energy vehicles.
