CTOnews.com August 31, Dell's flagship lightweight notebook XPS 13 Plus has been reported by some users to have a loose screen. Dell has confirmed to The Verge that there is a screen problem with some OLED versions of the model, and the company is contacting affected customers and appears to be recalling some products.

Users had previously reported that the screen of the XPS 13 Plus was loose, while another video showed a XPS 13 Plus screen falling off in the Best Buy demonstration area. In addition, users reported crashes, blurred screens, touch failures and other problems.

At present, some users have said that the purchase of XPS 13 Plus orders has been recalled.

In a statement to foreign media The Verge, Dell said:

We put product quality first and found that some of the screens of the XPS 13 Plus OLED version might become loose due to a problem with the third-party adhesive used, which we quickly corrected during production. Dell is actively contacting customers who may be affected to replace the screen, preferably before the screen is loose.

Dell also said that XPS 13 Plus with non-OLED screens is not affected.

CTOnews.com learned that this product is also sold in China, equipped with 12-generation i7-1260p processor and 3.5K OLED screen, the price starts from 16999 yuan, it is not clear whether the domestic version will be affected.
