Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, August 31 (Xinhua)-- France's YouTuber @ j0nathan claimed that the next "Assassin's Creed" game is called "Assassin's Creed: illusion", which was partially confirmed by Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier.

According to reports, the background is set in the Middle East between 860 and 870 AD, including Baghdad, which will return to the game style of the original Assassin Creed, led by Ubisoft's Bordeaux Studio.

It is said that it initially served as an extension of the Assassin's Creed: the Hall of Souls, but Ubisoft eventually decided to split it into separate games to strengthen its Assassin's Creed lineup.

The work, code-named Rift, will feature Basim Ibn Ishaq and will be smaller and more stealthy than the latest version of the series, Bloomberg reported. It is said that Basim is actually the reincarnation of the Nordic god Loki, who actually belongs to an ancient and highly advanced humanoid species.

CTOnews.com has reported that Bloomberg also said the game will be released in the spring of 2023 and is expected to be released before the Assassin Creed: infinite, a collaboration between Ubisoft Quebec (Odyssey) and Ubisoft Montreal (Origins and Valhalla).

J0nathan gives some other details:

There are no RPG elements such as dialogue selection, upgrade, and gender selection (because the player's role is Basim).

The Hawkeye power that last appeared in the 2015 Assassin's Creed: the Great Heroes has returned, but in the last three games, drones that players can use to observe and mark their enemies have also returned.

Ubisoft is secretly developing a remake of the original Assassin Creed, which uses most of the works and assets created for Mirage.

More will be revealed at the Ubisoft Forward online event on September 10.
