In fact, not only Tencent, some of the latest Internet companies have ushered in the wave of App off the shelves.

According to Tech Planet, according to incomplete statistics, from January to August this year, Internet companies removed a total of more than 60 App products, of which Tencent is the most. Tencent has announced that nearly 40 products (including games) have been removed from the shelves this year, with an average of 5 products per month. As of July this year, Tencent has removed as many as 28 games, including "QQ Tang", "QQ Lianliankan", "QQ Beauty finding fault", "the whole people chopping immortals" and "fishing is coming". NetEase games have also been removed from the shelves this year, such as "above the Kuroshio", "King of the Hunter", "Maze of the God of the Moon" and other products. A number of games have also been removed from the shelves this year, such as "Art of War", "all-Star fierce struggle", "darts" and so on.

In addition, from January to August this year, more than 20 non-game products were removed from the shelves of major Internet companies. Among them, 11 were removed from the shelves by Tencent, followed by Baidu with 9 products, followed by byte, Ali and JD.com.

CTOnews.com learned that, in sharp contrast to a large number of products taken off the shelves, only a handful of Internet companies have launched products on the shelves this year. Tencent officially launched only 3 new products this year, and byte, known as the App factory, is only 6 products online this year, while Kuaishou, Baidu and Ali are even less.

It is reported that the contraction of Internet companies' products now reflects that they are reducing their exploration of new areas, gradually shrinking their business lines, strictly controlling project costs and maintaining cash flow.
