CTOnews.com August 30 news, today, WeiUnicom released a new TS-x62 series of multimedia NAS, including dual-bit TS-262 and four-bit TS-462.

CTOnews.com learned that the NAS uses an Intel Cy Young N4505 dual core processor with a 2.5GbE interface and two M.2 PCIe slots. In addition, the TS-x62 NAS series is equipped with a PCIe Gen 3 slot, allowing users to give NAS more performance and applications through a variety of QNAP PCIe expansion cards. TS-x62 NAS focuses on the multimedia center function, which can be viewed directly on TV through the output of HDMI 2.0.

According to officials, the TS-x62 series can be used as Plex multimedia servers, and users can stream media information to mobile devices, DLNA devices and televisions through general media streaming devices, including Roku, Apple TV (through Qmedia), Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, etc.

At present, the official price of the new NAS has not been announced.
