According to AMD, with this technology, the performance of 1080p games can be improved by 11%. The memory latency of AMD 5 can be reduced to 63ns. In addition, AMD also said that DDR5 provides EXPO technology to its memory partners in the industry without royalties or license fees.

When the AMD 7000 processor debuts on September 27, there will be 15 DDR5-6400 high-end overclocking memory options from Viagra, Pirate ship, Kingston and other manufacturers.

CTOnews.com learned that AMD EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking) aims at the Ruilong 7000 processor and DDR5 memory, aligns Intel and other XMP 3.0 overclocking technologies, making it convenient for users to overclock with one button. Memory manufacturers are expected to announce the first memory suites using EXPO profiles soon.
