CTOnews.com, August 30 (Xinhua) earlier this month, Google launched an official version of Android 13 for Pixel phones. However, due to the boot loader update, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6A with custom Tensor chips cannot be flushed back to the Android 12 system after being upgraded to the official version of Android 13.

Today, Google offered downgrades for all three phones, uploading developer-supported versions of Android 12 and Android 12L, which are only for software developers and can be downgraded from Android 13 to Android 12 without being affected by the anti-rollback mechanism.

However, this version is a special adaptable version that cannot receive OTA security updates, and the security patches are not up-to-date, so it is not suitable for ordinary users.

CTOnews.com has learned that Google will launch an Android 13 QPR1 Beta version update from September until March 2023, followed by a beta version of Android 14.

Google has also removed the list of compatible devices from the site, and users must log in to their accounts before they can check whether their devices are supported.
