CTOnews.com noted that the AMD website also announced the packaging of the new processors, with R5 and R7 using small flat boxes and R9 with larger hardcover boxes.

The AMD US website shows that the processor will be launched on September 15, while AMD announced at the launch that it will be available on September 27.
