CTOnews.com August 30 news, AMD today officially released the sharp dragon 7000 series processors, at the same time, AMD CEO Su Zifeng showed the upcoming RX 7000 series graphics cards.

Clearer pictures obtained from foreign media videocardz show that the RX 7000 series public card design maintains a black color scheme and a three-fan design, similar to RX 6950XT. AMD did not disclose which graphics card it is, but it should be a high-end product in terms of thickness.

The AMD RX 7000 series of graphics cards will be equipped with RDNA3 architecture GPU, which has been officially confirmed to be launched later this year, with a significant improvement in performance.

David Wang, senior vice president of AMD Radeon, said the next-generation GPU of the Radeon RX 7000 series will provide more than 50 per cent performance improvement per watt compared to the existing RDNA 2 GPU.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the Navi31, Navi32 and Navi33 GPU parameters used in the AMD Sharon 7000 graphics card were exposed:

Navi31: a GCD + four MCD core design, 12288 stream processor, 96MB unlimited cache, possibly 192MB 3D cache version, 384bit memory bit width.

Navi32: one GCD + four MCD core design, 7680 stream processor, 64MB unlimited cache, 256bit video memory bit width.

Navi33: single chip design, 4096 stream processor, 32MB unlimited buffer, 128bit video memory bit width.

It was also revealed that the graphics unit GCD of AMD's new GPU uses TSMC's 5nm process, while the cache unit MCD uses TSMC's 6nm process. In addition, the public version of the message AMD RX 7000 graphics card uses a three-fan design and dual 8pin power supply, which may mean that AMD will not use the latest 16pin graphics card power interface.
